Welcome to our first Geelong Schools Unboxy Challenge!

Geelong Tech School and Unboxy invite students within Geelong, Bellarine & Surf Coast to participate in the Geelong Unboxy Design Challenge!

The competition is open to all Year 5, 6 & 7 students, who are invited to make and submit innovative Unboxy projects in the inaugural Unboxy Design Challenge.

There are three entry categories:

• Engineering: Tallest structure with a single kit challenge.
• Creativity: Most creative use.
• Wellbeing: Best contribution to wellbeing to your classroom.

Students complete the Unboxy design Challenge at school with their Teachers between Monday 2nd November to Friday 12th November 2021, before submitting their video entry by 3:00pm Friday 12th November 2021.

Upon registering, Teachers are invited to attend a Professional Development session at Geelong Tech School (or online if necessary) on Wednesday 27^th October 2021, 3:00pm to 4:30pm to receive more challenge information, lesson planning & their Unboxy kit.

Finalists will be invited to the Awards Ceremony held at the Geelong Tech School on Friday 19th November 2021 @ 10am. Awards & Recognition for the overall, 1st & 2nd category winners!

Registrations close at 3.00 pm on Tuesday 20th October, 2021.
